{"id":32040,"date":"2026-08-27T17:20:35","date_gmt":"2026-08-27T09:20:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/news\/?post_type=oasis-news&#038;p=32040"},"modified":"2026-08-27T17:20:39","modified_gmt":"2026-08-27T09:20:39","slug":"message-from-the-vice-chancellor-4","status":"publish","type":"oasis-news","link":"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/news\/oasis-news\/message-from-the-vice-chancellor-4\/","title":{"rendered":"Message from the Vice-Chancellor"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><em>Reading time: 1 minute.<\/em><\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dear Curtin community,&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are deeply saddened by the devastation caused by the catastrophic flash floods affecting border villages between Nepal and Tibet.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our thoughts are with every person and family directly affected, as well as anyone who has a connection to these areas, at this deeply distressing time.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Being away from home at a time like this is especially difficult so I want to assure you that the Curtin community is here to support you.
