What better way to talk about consent and respect than with a little orange?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Join Curtin\u2019s Respect Starts With You<\/a> (RSWY) campaign and UBL for Orange you Glad you Asked?<\/strong>, an interactive activation designed to make conversations about consent positive, practical and easy to engage with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How does it work?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s simple: ask for orange juice, and you\u2019ll receive some.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The activation uses a real-life scenario to show how consent can be a normal and positive part of everyday interactions. Rather than learning about consent through fear-based messaging, you\u2019ll have the chance to practise asking, respecting someone\u2019s response and seeing how consent can work in a simple, everyday situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why are we doing it?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Consent is something we can all put into practice, and learning through real-life situations can make these ideas easier to understand and remember.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Orange you Glad you Asked?<\/strong> encourages you to engage with consent in a positive way while thinking about how your actions can help create a supportive and respectful community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We can encourage everyone to take responsibility for their own actions and show what being a good person looks like.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Small actions, like asking before taking, respecting someone\u2019s response and looking out for others, can help build a culture where respect is the norm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
