Between finding your classes, keeping up with coursework, making new connections and balancing everything else happening in life, it’s completely normal if you’re still settling in.

Here are a few practical ways to help you feel more organised, connected and confident as the semester gets underway.

Plan ahead (your future self will thank you!)

A little planning now can make the rest of the semester feel much more manageable.

Try to:

Add important dates like assessment deadlines, quizzes, Census Date and exams to your calendar.

Schedule study sessions around the times of day when you feel most focused and productive.

Break larger assignments into smaller tasks so you can make steady progress instead of leaving everything until the last minute.

Block out time for rest, hobbies and catching up with friends.
