The Faculty of Business and Law Business Internship Program offers students the opportunity to complete a credited internship during the Summer Semester, 23 November 2026 \u2013 5 February 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Internships are available as either a Facilitated Internship (sourced by Curtin\u2019s Industry and Community Hub) or a Bring Your Own (BYO) Internship (sourced by the student and approved by Curtin). Both options are 25 credit internship units and may be used to fulfil a Capstone requirement, subject to eligibility and study plan structure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How the program works<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Students will typically complete 120 hours in the workplace over the study period, undertaking meaningful, discipline relevant work under the supervision of an industry professional. In addition to the placement hours, students will complete assessment tasks linked to their internship unit that encourage reflection on their professional experience and skill development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While the Faculty of Business and Law strives to provide as many internship opportunities as possible through strong industry connections, internships are competitive and cannot be guaranteed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eligibility<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To be eligible for a credited internship, students must:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Be on Good Standing with a minimum CWA of 60<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have adequate space on their study plan to receive credit<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be completing an internship aligned with their field of study<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have completed:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>300 credits (undergraduate students), or<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>100 credits (postgraduate students)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Application deadlines \u2013 Summer Program<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Applications for Facilitated and BYO internships close: <strong>18 September 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Applications cannot be submitted after the closing date for the selected study period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Students are encouraged to submit their application early to allow sufficient time for eligibility checks, onboarding requirements, and placement matching.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">More Information<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Still have questions?
