They give access to assignments, personal data, and university systems. If your login falls into the wrong hands, it could be misused to steal information, impersonate you, or disrupt your studies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cybercriminals are targeting university accounts more than ever, especially during busy periods like exams and enrolment. Follow these tips to stay safe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Our recommendations:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Use trusted software<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Only install apps and browser extensions from trusted sources. Unverified tools can contain malicious code that steals your login details.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Don\u2019t store passwords carelessly<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Never save passwords in shared folders or plain text files. Use secure tools like password managers to keep your credentials safe.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Block scammy pop-ups<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Scam notifications often trick you into clicking dangerous links.
