{"id":29084,"date":"2025-08-25T15:56:30","date_gmt":"2025-08-25T07:56:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/news\/?post_type=oasis-news&#038;p=29084"},"modified":"2025-08-25T15:56:33","modified_gmt":"2025-08-25T07:56:33","slug":"changes-to-brand-drive-and-pg5-carpark-near-b316-sciences-development","status":"publish","type":"oasis-news","link":"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/news\/oasis-news\/changes-to-brand-drive-and-pg5-carpark-near-b316-sciences-development\/","title":{"rendered":"Changes to Brand Drive and PG5 carpark near B316 Sciences development"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>From Monday, 1 September, vehicle and pedestrian access near the B316 Sciences development will change to facilitate necessary underground service upgrades. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These conditions are expected to remain in place until April 2026, however areas may reopen sooner as works progress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Part of <strong>PG5 will be temporarily relocated<\/strong> just off Brand Drive, with pathway upgrades currently underway to maintain access between PG5 and surrounding buildings for ACROD and Courtesy bay users. See the map below for details. Within this carpark, there will be:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>2 ACROD bays<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 Courtesy bay<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3 x 15-min bays<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you need to turn around, please use the roundabout near Curtin Bus Station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>B315 bike hub<\/strong> will remain open, however part of the pathway along Brand Drive will close, altering access routes.
