Our values call us to uphold respect and compassion in all our interactions, especially when perspectives differ or emotions run high.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a time to be especially mindful of one another. A quiet moment of kindness, a check-in with classmate, or simply extending patience and understanding can make a real difference. We each have a role to play in fostering a culture of care\u2014one in which people feel seen, supported and safe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you, or someone you know are in need of support, please remember that you are not alone and Curtin has a range of people and services ready to help.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This includes free and confidential wellbeing support, providing both psychological and counselling support, as well as the Guild Student Assist program which offers academic and non-academic advice.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If these concerns are affecting your studies, you may wish to consider requesting an extension or speaking with your unit coordinator to determine what reasonable adjustments can be made.
