{"id":23364,"date":"2023-12-13T08:41:48","date_gmt":"2023-12-13T00:41:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/news\/?post_type=oasis-news&#038;p=23364"},"modified":"2023-12-13T09:02:49","modified_gmt":"2023-12-13T01:02:49","slug":"calling-all-local-street-performers-and-musicians","status":"publish","type":"oasis-news","link":"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/news\/oasis-news\/calling-all-local-street-performers-and-musicians\/","title":{"rendered":"Calling all local street performers and musicians"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Help bring the Town of Victoria Park top life by applying for the Pop-Up Street Performer Series!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are a local street performer, artist or musician, you could make your mark on the exciting inaugural Summer Season by showcasing your unique talents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What kinds of performance are permitted?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The Town of Victoria Park is seeking the following forms of performance:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Instrumental (single or multiple instruments)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Live performance (including singing, dancing, acrobatics, juggling, magic, comedy, stilt walking or live statue acts)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lighting projections<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Visual street art such as chalk, floral, sand, and temporary sculpture installations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How do I apply?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.victoriapark.wa.gov.au\/forms\/pop-up-street-performer-series-submission-form\/170\">Submit an online EOI application<\/a> accompanied by the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A short audition video (maximum 60 seconds)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Two photos of your performance set up<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>One supporting professional referee<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A quote for proposed act (including breakdown of total fixed performance fee, hourly rate and GST component)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Applications will remain open until February 2024.
