On 27 October, Curtin\u2019s advanced science student cohort participated in their end-of-semester showcase at the Curtin Medical School.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This unique event offered an exciting opportunity for our students to display their research and deliver knowledge from their investigations over the semester.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Students explored a wide range of ground breaking research topics, including investigating the characteristics of potassium nitrate through computer simulations, molecular genetics, AI-generated programs revolutionising data retrieval in business, and machine-learning models using EEG signals to recognise and diagnose dementia more quickly than current technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Moving from one presentation to the next was a refreshing experience, with each student sharing their findings with the passion to make waves in their field of study.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The projects on display not only showcased our students’ capacity to tackle complex challenges across diverse fields, but positioned them as future industry leaders with the ability to inspire and motivate others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
