Update: 16 August"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Current restrictions in WA<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The State Government recently removed all capacity limits for venues and events, and consequently all venues on our WA campuses have returned to full capacity for second semester.<\/p>\n<p>Some COVID-related controls remain in place in WA including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A requirement to check in to venues using the SafeWA app or printed registers<\/li>\n<li>Restrictions on entering WA from other states<\/li>\n<li>Access to remote Aboriginal communities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>More information is available on the State Government\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wa.gov.au\/organisation\/department-of-the-premier-and-cabinet\/covid-19-coronavirus-what-you-can-and-cant-do#borders\">COVID-19 website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SafeWA and contact registers<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At Curtin, we need to keep using the SafeWA app (or manual registration) to check in at all campus venues where a QR code is displayed, including leased spaces and other third-party venues.\u00a0 The University also uses alternative data sources to identify the location of staff and students on our campuses.<\/p>\n<p>Contact registers and alternative data sources are essential in assisting contact tracers to identify people who may have been exposed to a positive case.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Updating contact details<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For contract tracing to be effective, the University needs access to your current mobile contact details.\u00a0 Please review and, if necessary, update your contact details in eStudent via OASIS.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/students.connect.curtin.edu.au\/app\/answers\/detail\/a_id\/2238\/kw\/contact%20details\">Instructions on updating your contact details.<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Updating your contact details will also ensure you receive any emergency text alerts (Curtin Alerts) issued by the University.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vaccinations available at Curtin Medical Service<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Curtin Medical Service on the Perth campus has both Pfizer and AstraZeneca vaccinations available for eligible staff and students.\u00a0 You can book <a href=\"https:\/\/students.curtin.edu.au\/personal-support\/health\/medical-centre\/\">online<\/a> or by calling 08 9266
