{"id":19801,"date":"2021-11-05T01:00:59","date_gmt":"2021-11-04T17:00:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/news\/media-release\/curtin-and-st-hildas-join-forces-to-foster-future-leaders\/"},"modified":"2021-11-05T01:00:59","modified_gmt":"2021-11-04T17:00:59","slug":"curtin-and-st-hildas-join-forces-to-foster-future-leaders","status":"publish","type":"media-release","link":"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/news\/media-release\/curtin-and-st-hildas-join-forces-to-foster-future-leaders\/","title":{"rendered":"Curtin and St Hilda\u2019s join forces to foster future leaders"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Curtin University has partnered with St Hilda\u2019s Anglican School for Girls to help nurture the next generation of entrepreneurs and build innovation into the School\u2019s curriculum and learning spaces.<\/p>\n<p>As part of Curtin\u2019s Innovative School Consortium, the alliance will see the University and St Hilda\u2019s explore collaborative opportunities across the student transition experience as well as research and innovation projects.<\/p>\n<p>Curtin will also provide support and advice to St Hilda\u2019s staff on professional development, as well as develop new projects and provide advice on curricula that promotes and embeds ESSTEAM approaches to learning.<\/p>\n<p>Curtin Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic Professor Jill Downie said the partnership, cemented with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding, was a great opportunity for both institutions to work together on developing exciting new ways of driving innovation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCurtin is proud to partner with St Hilda\u2019s and work with its students, teachers and senior staff to focus on innovation, entrepreneurship and future-ready capabilities,\u201d Professor Downie said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are looking forward to helping develop the next generation of leaders through creating new learning experiences and environments for students and fostering join research and engagement projects which will have real-world impact.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As a key part of the partnership, Curtin will share its expertise and work with St Hilda\u2019s in creating a new and dynamic ESSTEAM innovation hub on its Mosman Park campus.
