Curtin University has ranked third equal highest median full-time undergraduate salary in Australia and is again Western Australia\u2019s best performing public university for students finding full-time work after graduation, as revealed in the national 2021 Graduate Outcomes Survey.<\/p>\n
The median full-time undergraduate salary for Curtin\u2019s graduates, increased from $65,000 last year to $70,000 this year, making it the third equal highest in Australia and the highest in WA.<\/p>\n
Curtin also achieved a 70 per cent employment rate for graduates, above the national average of 69 per cent for those who completed an undergraduate course last year.<\/p>\n
Vice-Chancellor Professor Harlene Hayne said the survey results demonstrate Curtin\u2019s commitment to ensuring graduates have the best springboard into the workforce and are job-ready.<\/p>\n
\u201cCurtin\u2019s strong results in the Federal Government\u2019s Graduate Outcomes Survey follow our ranking in the latest Good Universities Guide<\/a>, which also placed Curtin at number one for undergraduate outcomes, as well as starting salary, among WA\u2019s public universities,\u201d Professor Hayne said.<\/p>\n \u201cCurtin University is extremely proud to be able to offer our students a world-class education that also includes practical, industry-relevant teaching and learning to ensure they are able to apply their degrees with success in the real-world.\u201d<\/p>\n Earlier this year, Curtin was also ranked in the world\u2019s top one per cent of universities in the\u00a0QS World University Rankings (QSWUR)<\/a>\u00a02022, as well as achieving a QS Five Stars Plus rating, the highest available for a tertiary institution. Curtin is only one of three universities in Australia to achieve the QS Five Stars Plus recognition, and one of only 13 in the world.<\/p>\n
