Curtin University has been ranked 17th in the world in the QS Top 50 under 50 for 2021, jumping four places from last year.<\/p>\n
The rankings, based on the recently released QS World University Rankings 2021, recognise the world\u2019s best universities under 50 years of age and Curtin again placed 4th<\/sup> nationally.<\/p>\n Curtin University Vice-Chancellor Professor Deborah Terry said she was delighted that Curtin continued to be named among the top young institutions in the global higher education sector.<\/p>\n \u201cThese results show Curtin continues to excel on the world stage, largely due to our commitment to research and our strong international outlook,\u201d Professor Terry said.<\/p>\n \u201cTo be recognised as 17th<\/sup> in the Top 50 under 50 is an outstanding achievement and testament to the incredibly hard work of our staff and students.\u201d<\/p>\n Curtin University\u2019s position among the world\u2019s top young institutions has also been recognised in the Times Higher Education (THE) Young University Rankings 2020 with Curtin placed equal 34th in the world, up 21 places from last year.<\/p>\n The rise in this ranking has also placed Curtin 8th nationally, up from 9th<\/sup> last year.<\/p>\n The THE Young University Rankings are based on the same 13 performance indicators as the flagship Times Higher Education World University Rankings.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Curtin University has been ranked 17th in the world in the QS Top 50 under 50 for 2021, jumping four places from last year.
