Long-time Curtin FM presenter and volunteer, Mr Brendon T Moylan, has been inducted into the Australian Country DJ Broadcaster\u2019s Music Hall of Fame during the Tamworth Country Music Festival.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Mr Moylan, who presents Curtin FM\u2019s popular Saturday afternoon program \u2018Born in Boots\u2019, was inducted into the Country DJ Broadcaster\u2019s Hall of Fame for his ongoing commitment and passion for the country music genre.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Mr Moylan said he was honoured to be recognised for his work within country music.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI began this program with the intention of promoting country music to Perth audiences and hoping that my listeners would appreciate country music as much as I do,\u201d Mr Moylan said.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAfter 19 years on air, to receive this award and recognition from the Australian country music industry is an incredible honour and one for which I am very grateful and proud. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cA lot of hard work goes into the show every weekend and I couldn\u2019t have achieved any of this without my wife and show producer, Janiece Moylan.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In recent years, \u2018Born in Boots\u2019 has been voted the most popular country music program in Perth and one of the ten most popular country music programs in Australia.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Curtin FM Station Manager Quinn Glasson said it was a fantastic achievement for Mr Moylan and his show \u2018Born in Boots\u2019 to be recognised on a national scale.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cMr Moylan brings character and passion to his show every weekend and he is now the second longest serving volunteer at Curtin FM,\u201d Mr Glasson said.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt is rewarding to see our volunteers being recognised for their efforts and we are always grateful for their long-term commitment to Curtin FM.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Mr Moylan, along with the other country music award recipients, was inducted during the Tamworth Country Music Festival in January. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
