Curtin University\u00a0 Vice-Chancellor\u00a0 Professor\u00a0 Deborah\u00a0 Terry\u00a0 has\u00a0 advised\u00a0 that\u00a0 one of the two students injured in a shooting in New Orleans recently has been released from hospital.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe other student remains in hospital and his condition continues to improve. He has his family with him for support,\u201d Professor Terry said.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are relieved and very pleased to hear that one of our students has now been discharged.\u201d<\/p>\n
Professor Sam Spearing, who travelled to New Orleans to support the students, has now returned to WA.<\/p>\n
