{"id":18143,"date":"2013-07-29T05:25:53","date_gmt":"2013-07-28T21:25:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/news\/media-release\/african-food-security-a-priority-for-haydn-williams-fellowship-recipient-2\/"},"modified":"2013-07-29T05:25:53","modified_gmt":"2013-07-28T21:25:53","slug":"african-food-security-a-priority-for-haydn-williams-fellowship-recipient-2","status":"publish","type":"media-release","link":"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/news\/media-release\/african-food-security-a-priority-for-haydn-williams-fellowship-recipient-2\/","title":{"rendered":"African food security a priority for Haydn Williams Fellowship recipient"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Curtin University has awarded the 2013 Haydn Williams Fellowship to an international expert in grain science and food security technology, whose research is dedicated to African food security.<\/p>\n<p>The Haydn Williams Fellowship is offered to an academic of outstanding international reputation and broad academic interest and this year, has been awarded to Professor John Taylor, from the University of Pretoria in South Africa.<\/p>\n<p>Professor Taylor is an expert in the science, technology and nutritional quality of grain-based foods.
