{"id":17984,"date":"2012-09-25T07:15:45","date_gmt":"2012-09-24T23:15:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/news\/media-release\/curtin-student-wins-industry-run-crops-competition\/"},"modified":"2012-09-25T07:15:45","modified_gmt":"2012-09-24T23:15:45","slug":"curtin-student-wins-industry-run-crops-competition","status":"publish","type":"media-release","link":"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/news\/media-release\/curtin-student-wins-industry-run-crops-competition\/","title":{"rendered":"Curtin student wins industry-run Crops Competition"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A Curtin University student has won the top prize in the 2012 Australian Universities Crops Competition, taking her agricultural knowledge out of the lecture theatre and applying it in the paddock.<\/p>\n<p>Third year agribusiness student Helen Duncan of Ravensthorpe was awarded the most successful individual student prize, while third year agribusiness student Andrew Reynolds of York achieved fourth place.
