{"id":17939,"date":"2012-06-08T02:32:47","date_gmt":"2012-06-07T18:32:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/news\/media-release\/conference-to-discuss-energy-economics-in-a-post-kyoto-world\/"},"modified":"2022-12-08T13:13:57","modified_gmt":"2022-12-08T05:13:57","slug":"conference-to-discuss-energy-economics-in-a-post-kyoto-world","status":"publish","type":"media-release","link":"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/news\/media-release\/conference-to-discuss-energy-economics-in-a-post-kyoto-world\/","title":{"rendered":"Conference to discuss energy economics in a post-Kyoto world"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This month, more than 200 economists, academics and key industry figures from 30 countries will gather in Perth for the International Association for Energy Economics\u2019 (IAEE) 35th Annual International Conference.<\/p>\n<p>Hosted by Curtin University\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.business.curtin.edu.au\/index.cfm?objectid=539ACDEF-CABF-9FAB-5DC654FBB558C7CC\">Centre for Research in Energy and Minerals Economics<\/a>, the theme for this year\u2019s conference is <em>Energy markets evolution under global carbon constraints: assessing Kyoto and looking forward.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Guest speakers include Richard Jones, Deputy Executive Director from the International Energy Agency;
