Curtin Business School has appointed KPMG partner and well-known media commentator, Bernard Salt, as an adjunct professor.<\/p>\n
The established international trend forecaster and advisor for business and government affairs joined KPMG, a leading provider of business and tax services, in 1998.<\/p>\n
Mr Salt said he plans to share his knowledge and experience of Australia\u2019s business industry with WA and Curtin.<\/p>\n
\u201cI think some of the biggest issues facing the nation today emanate from WA, so I was very pleased to have an alignment with Curtin,\u201d Mr Salt said.<\/p>\n
\u201cI hope to inspire students, act as an ambassador for Curtin University and to promote its interests wherever I can throughout Australia.\u201d<\/p>\n
CBS Pro Vice-Chancellor Professor Duncan Bentley said Mr Salt would be an impressive contributor to the School\u2019s economics and finance program.<\/p>\n
\u201cMr Salt\u2019s experience as one of Australia\u2019s leading trend forecasters and extensive knowledge of business and government affairs, spans well over two decades,\u201d Professor Bentley said.<\/p>\n

Mr Salt is a regular media commentator through his twice weekly column in The Australian, and appearances on 7:30 Report, 60 Minutes, A Current Affair and Today Tonight.<\/p>\n
