Curtin University Professors Steven Tingay and Igor Bray will discuss the future of physics and radio astronomy at the iVEC 2011 eResearch Interns Showcase, on 23-24 February at the ARRC Auditorium.<\/p>\n
iVEC’s 2011 eResearch Interns Showcase is being held in conjunction with the International Centre for Radio Astronomy Research (ICRAR) to celebrate the work of this year’s interns from both organisations.<\/p>\n
The first in a series of eResearch events planned for 2011, the Showcase will feature some of Western Australia’s leading scientific researchers and academic facilitators as well as cutting edge research from a range of key disciplines, including radio astronomy, computational fluid dynamics, 3D visualisation, geophysics and optical microscopy.<\/p>\n
The showcase will also include a poster session on both days to allow discussion with early and late career researchers in these fields of science.<\/p>\n
When: 9.00am – 2:15pm, Wednesday 23rd February and 9.00am – 4.30pm, Thursday 24 February<\/p>\n
