You don\u2019t need to have the whole game plan yet. Some people know exactly where they want to go. Others are still figuring it out. Let\u2019s take it one step at a time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why&nbsp;it&nbsp;feels&nbsp;like&nbsp;everyone&nbsp;else&nbsp;has&nbsp;it&nbsp;figured&nbsp;out&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Social media, family expectations, and school conversations can\u00a0make it seem like\u00a0everyone else has a perfectly mapped-out future.\u00a0Your friends who appear certain about their path may change their mind. Some might switch degrees, choose a different specialisation or move into a different career later. You might feel unsure because:\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You might be feeling confused because:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>you have lots of interests\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>you\u00a0haven\u2019t\u00a0been exposed to different industries\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>you\u2019re\u00a0worried about making the \u201cwrong\u201d choice\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>you feel pressure to decide quickly.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So,&nbsp;let\u2019s&nbsp;explore your options.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Wondering how to choose a career in year 11 or 12?\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Instead of asking&nbsp;\u201cWhat job will I do for the rest of my life?\u201d,&nbsp;consider:&nbsp;\u201cWhat would I like to explore next?\u201d.&nbsp;University is&nbsp;the start of many&nbsp;adventures, not a life-long contract tying you to one path.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Start by reflecting on what you already know about yourself:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1.&nbsp;Identify&nbsp;your interests&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>What subjects bring you the most joy at school?&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Do you enjoy solving problems, helping people, designing things, working outdoors, or&nbsp;analysing&nbsp;data?&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What hobbies or activities&nbsp;energise&nbsp;you in your free time?&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2.
