Inspired by James\u2019 merging of photographic processes,\u00a0participants engaged in a\u00a0series of photography, paint and cyanotypes workshops to explore culture and country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For this talk, Project Facilitator Lauri Parr, will share these community reflections, exploring the ongoing significance of James\u2019 work in challenging the colonialism that photography often implicitly expresses as truth.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Lauri&nbsp;Parr&nbsp;<\/strong>is an award-winning participatory visual artist, human rights researcher and 2025 Forrest Foundation Creative Fellow. She uses ethical photography, photovoice and storytelling &#8211; to explore, celebrate and share counter discourses &#8211; with underrepresented communities.
