{"id":2195,"date":"2025-06-19T17:04:22","date_gmt":"2025-06-19T09:04:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/jcg\/?post_type=events&#038;p=2195"},"modified":"2025-06-23T14:14:29","modified_gmt":"2025-06-23T06:14:29","slug":"nan-goldin-exhibition-curator-tour","status":"publish","type":"events","link":"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/jcg\/events\/nan-goldin-exhibition-curator-tour\/","title":{"rendered":"Nan Goldin: The ballad of sexual dependency Curator Tour"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Recently acquired by the National Gallery of Australia from the artist&#8217;s personal collection, <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/jcg\/exhibitions\/nan-goldin-the-ballad-of-sexual-dependency\/\"><strong>Nan Goldin:<\/strong> <strong><em>The ballad of sexual dependency<\/em><\/strong><\/a> is one of the defining artworks of the twentieth century.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The exhibition is curated by Anne O&#8217;Hehir and we are excited to have Anne join us in Perth for the Exhibition Opening event and a Curator Tour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Anne O\u2019Hehir<\/strong> is Curator of Photography, at the National Gallery of Australia, Kamberri\/Canberra. She has curated many exhibitions over a twenty-year period, including&nbsp;<em>Nan Goldin<\/em>&nbsp;(2022);&nbsp;<em>The Body Electric<\/em>&nbsp;(2020-21);&nbsp;<em>Diane Arbus: American Portraits&nbsp;<\/em>(2016);&nbsp;<em>Carol Jerrems: photographic artist<\/em>&nbsp;(2012).
