Curated by Leigh Robb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Recently acquired by the National Gallery of Australia from the artist&#8217;s personal collection, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/jcg\/exhibitions\/nan-goldin-the-ballad-of-sexual-dependency\/\"><strong>Nan Goldin:<\/strong> <strong><em>The ballad of sexual dependency<\/em><\/strong><\/a> is one of the defining artworks of the twentieth century. Curated by Anne O&#8217;Hehir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>James Tylor \u2013 <em>Turrangka&#8230;In the shadows<\/em> is a UNSW Galleries exhibition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Nan Goldin: The ballad of sexual dependency<\/em> is a National Gallery Touring Exhibition presented as part of the Bowness Family Foundation Photography Touring Program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Viewer Advice:<\/strong> The photographs in Nan Goldin\u2019s <em>The ballad of sexual dependency<\/em> depict the everyday lives, often in intimate detail, of people in Goldin\u2019s immediate community during the late 1970s and early 1980s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>15+ Content Warning:&nbsp;<\/strong>Please be advised that works of art in the exhibition depict explicit nudity, sexual acts, drug use, and the impacts of violence against women.
