{"id":36,"date":"2024-03-21T07:43:56","date_gmt":"2024-03-20T23:43:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/integrityandstandards\/code-of-conduct\/"},"modified":"2024-10-21T09:58:33","modified_gmt":"2024-10-21T01:58:33","slug":"code-of-conduct","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/integrityandstandards\/code-of-conduct\/","title":{"rendered":"Code of Conduct &#8211; Staff"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:60%\">\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/integrityandstandards\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Code_of_Conduct-1.pdf\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"32\">Code of Conduct<\/a> sets out the minimum professional standards of behaviour and probity (the Professional Standards) that the University expects all parties to the Code to meet in conducting their day-to-day work and when interacting with other members of the University community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Parties to the Code include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Academic and general staff (continuing, fixed-term, casual and sessional);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Visiting, honorary and adjunct staff, University fellows and emeritus professors;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contractors, consultants and other individuals engaged by the University;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Volunteers and representatives acting as agents of the University; and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Other persons who may be appointed as an associate of the University<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-style-rounded\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1080\" src=\"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/integrityandstandards\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/AdobeStock_387859132-1920x1080.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-266\" style=\"aspect-ratio:1;object-fit:cover\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Code of Conduct &#8211; Students<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Code does not cover students at the University except where they also come under the definition of parties to the Code, and only for those duties each student performs as a party to the Code.
