Providing our students with hands-on experience with the latest tools and software to solve real-world problems is at the heart of the School\u2019s curriculum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We extend our sincere thanks to PE Ltd for their generous donation of educational licenses for the Integrated Production Modelling (IPM) software suite, with a retail value of AUD $5.5 million (GBP \u00a32,662,348). Widely used across the global energy industry, the IPM suite includes key software tools such as GAP, PROSPER, MBAL, and RESOLVE, which will be integrated into our undergraduate, postgraduate, and research programs across the school. This will provide students with exposure to industry-standard software and hands-on experience in system-wide modelling, simulation, production system optimisation, and multiphase flow analysis, while also supporting learning in emerging areas such as hydrogen production, storage, and transportation\u2014crucial for preparing our graduates to address the complex challenges of sustainable energy resources field and system development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/friends\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/06\/WDSC05875_Web.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-25325\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:600px\">\n<p>We are grateful for this donation from PE Ltd and look forward to our continuing partnership in the coming years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>John Curtin Distinguished Professor Mark A.
