What does Community-led healthcare look like?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recent outbreaks of vaccine-preventable diseases, such as diphtheria, are a reminder that gaps in access to healthcare are leaving some communities more vulnerable than others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Join Professor Anne-Marie Eades<\/strong> as she explores what it means to listen, learn and work alongside Community leaders to make healthcare more accessible and culturally responsive. She\u2019ll discuss \u2018Closing the Vaccine Gap<\/em>\u2019 \u2013 a Stan Perron Foundation-funded program guided by and for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and working to improve vaccine knowledge, access and uptake across Western Australia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Learn how Community-led research is helping to shape a healthier future for generations to come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Walk-ins are welcome, however, entry is not guaranteed due to reduced capacity at some Semester 2 venues. Lunch is provided for registered attendees only, as catering is finalised a week before the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
