Curtin’s Psychological and Counselling Service is offering a free 3-week workshop aimed at supporting students with managing their wellbeing through cultural or family pressures to succeed academically.

The workshop will be a combination of:

  • Educational information on stress, a growth mindset and the process of differentiating from your family of origin to your ‘adult self’
  • The impact of family/cultural systems and expectations on our wellbeing
  • Understanding and learning coping skills to manage our wellbeing
  • Some confidential sharing of experiences.
