The goal is to improve programs and support services for fathers and families in our community. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The involvement opportunity<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The CALD Fathering Study is putting together a Cultural Reference Group, made up of four fathers who will work with the research team to make sure the study is respectful, relevant, and culturally appropriate. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The group will help to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Review study materials<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Share information about the study <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide feedback on findings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Help develop plain language summaries<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Suggest ideas for future research <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Skills and experience <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To join the Reference Group, you need to be:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A father of a child under the age of 5<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identify as someone from a Culturally and Linguistic Diverse community <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ideally, you will reside within the City of Gosnells, however expressions of interest are welcome form those who do not live in this area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Other information<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">5 meetings will be held throughout the year.
