Building on the success of our 2025 event, the day brought together colleagues from across the University for a full program of speakers and activities dedicated to rethinking assessment in the age of GenAI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Proceedings opened with a keynote from Professor Jason Lodge, Professor of Educational Psychology and Director of the Learning, Instruction and Technology Lab in the School of Education at the University of Queensland. Professor Lodge led the development of TEQSA&#8217;s flagship resources on assessment in the AI era, including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teqsa.gov.au\/guides-resources\/resources\/corporate-publications\/assessment-reform-age-artificial-intelligence\">Assessment Reform for the Age of Artificial Intelligence<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teqsa.gov.au\/guides-resources\/resources\/corporate-publications\/enacting-assessment-reform-time-artificial-intelligence\">Enacting Assessment Reform in a Time of Artificial Intelligence<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The day then ran across four parallel streams:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Stream 1. Reimagining the traditional lecture<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stream 2. Navigating the appropriate use of GenAI in learning and assessment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stream 3. Leveraging GenAI as a learning and support resource<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stream 4.
