Each week, students complete online tests covering current content. This structure reduces assessment anxiety while encouraging deep engagement with the weekly materials, thereby enhancing class participation and discussion. Students receive immediate feedback, allowing them to identify knowledge gaps and revisit content strategically. Students appreciate the low-stakes nature of the assessment and the range of question types. This approach particularly benefits the diverse student cohort, including mature-age learners, international students, and those transitioning to university study, by providing multiple pathways to demonstrate competency and accommodating different learning paces and styles.

Suggested Marking Criteria

<mimas-block
        block-name="accordion"
        role="complementary"
        aria-label="Accordion content"
        data-segment="all">

Accuracy

Students are assessed based on the accuracy of their answers.
