The Student Guild celebrated its role in shaping the student experience over the past 50 years at the Guild Presidents’ Reunion held at the iconic Curtin Tavern in April. Current Guild members and President, Liam O’Neill, came together with 16 former presidents, former Vice-Chancellor Emeritus Professor Lance Twomey and current Vice-Chancellor Professor Deborah Terry, to celebrate the Student Guild’s significant contribution to Curtin’s history. The evening included a slideshow paying tribute to the Guild’s historical journey followed by a chance to mingle, share memories and re-read old copies of the student publication ‘GROK’. A highly anticipated tour of the current Guild precinct brought the evening to a close.
