On Wednesday, 20 September a celebration was held at Curtin University, St Georges Terrace in honour of those individuals who have been so important to Curtin’s journey over the past five decades: our history-makers.
These individuals forged new ground for WAIT or Curtin or made a significant contribution to a particular field of endeavour, with many being the pioneers after whom major roads, buildings, lecture theatres and public lectures are named.
Throughout our anniversary year, these history-makers have been profiled on large posters installed in prominent locations at our Bentley, Kalgoorlie, Sarawak and Singapore campuses as well as on a limited edition collection of coffee cups distributed at major coffee shops on our Bentley campus.
More information about their achievements can be found on our history-makers page.
