Her previous leadership roles in the University include Director of Learning Innovations where she led innovation and project teams to develop Massive Open Online Courses as well as leading transformational IT projects at Curtin, Dean of Learning and Teaching, and Head of School of Information Systems.<\/p>\n<p>Professor Chang is a Fellow of the Australian Computer Society and an experienced leader in higher education. Her information systems research are focused in leadership, governance, and the use of data and systems in organisations. As an educator, she conducts research in learning pedagogies, in immersive and online learning.<\/p>\n"},{"id":"panos-piperopoulos","title":"Professor Panos Piperopoulos","content":"<p>Professor Panos Piperopoulos has an esteemed background from his work as Professor of Strategic Management at La Trobe Business School, and Associate Professor in Management (Innovation &amp; Entrepreneurship) at the Graduate School of Business and Law at RMIT University. Prior to relocating to Australia, Panos held positions as an Associate Professor in International Business at the University of Liverpool Management School, as an Associate Professor in Global Innovation Management at the Leeds University Business School, and in other positions across Europe and Asia.<\/p>\n<p>Panos\u2019s leadership experience in academia, includes Deputy Chair of the Academic Board, Associate Dean of Academic Partnerships, Discipline Lead, and Director of Research and PhD\/HDR Studies. He has led numerous international accreditations (EFMD\/EPAS, AACSB, CIM, IoE) and ranking exercises (QS, Financial Times, CEO Magazine).<\/p>\n<p>Panos is an Associate Editor for the <em>Journal of Small Business Management<\/em> and has contributed to competitive and industry grants totalling around AUD$2 million. Prior to taking up her role at ULMS in 2015, she was Associate Dean Research and Professor of Strategic Management at the University of Bath School of Management. Previously, she was Associate Dean Postgraduate and Director of the Graduate Management School at Lancaster University Management School, where she also held the Professor Sir Roland Smith Chair in Strategic Management and was Director of the Centre for Strategic Management. Following a career as a consultant, she began her academic career at Cranfield as an ESRC Teaching Fellow in 1992, where she obtained her PhD. She subsequently spent time at Bayes Business School and was promoted to a personal Chair in Strategic Management at Bayes in 2005. As Professor of Strategic Management, Professor Balogun is best known for her research on processes of strategy development and strategic change. She has a particular interest in how large corporations can be transformed to both retain and regain competitive advantage, focusing on the nature of the practices, actions and activities of senior executives engaged in corporate renewal, organisational transformation and radical restructuring. Building on this research, she is also a member of the growing international Strategy-as-Practice research field.<\/p>\n<p>Professor Balogun utilises her prior experience as a consultant to work collaboratively with organisations and senior executives on issues of strategic change, enabling her research to advance practitioner as well as theoretical knowledge about strategy and strategic change. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Governance Institute (CGI) in the United Kingdom and The Hong Kong Chartered Governance Institute (HKCGI).<\/p>\n<p class=\"style9_content\">Professor AU started his academic career in New Zealand and had served in various academic positions in Hong Kong and New Zealand.\u00a0In 1995, Professor AU joined HKMU, he was appointed as Associate Dean (B&amp;A) in 2010.<\/p>\n<p class=\"style9_content\">With more than 25 years of experience at HKMU, Professor AU has emerged as a renowned academic in the business field. F\u00e1tima holds a MSc in Management (1994) from Iscte, Portugal, and a PhD in Social Statistics (2003) from the University of Southampton, United Kingdom. Her research interests include Structural Equation Models, Latent Growth Curve Models and Graphical Modelling, as far as theoretical contributions and applications in Business Research areas are concerned. In collaboration with international co-authors, F\u00e1tima has published in Journals such as Psychometrika, Biometrika, Multivariate Behavioral Research and Journal of Multivariate Analysis. Data analysis applications, conducted with various co-authors, have been published in journals such as British Journal of Health Psychology, Business Horizons, Ecological Indicators, International Journal of Sustainable Development and World Ecology, Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services, Leisure Studies, Journal of Marketing Communications, International Journal of Consumer Studies and International Journal of Retail and Distribution. F\u00e1tima has supervised 15 concluded Master Dissertations and 17 concluded PhD Theses, some of these concerning theoretical contributions to statistics and data analysis, others including statistical applications to real problems of students from MSc and PhD Programs of the Iscte Business School. F\u00e1tima research results were presented in 48 national and 75 international Conferences. Examples of presentations at the international level include the International Meeting of the Psychometric Society and the International Workshop on Statistical Modelling. Since 2027 F\u00e1tima has been the Director of the Business Research Unit of Iscte, a research centre accredited by the Portuguese National Foundation (FCT) and graded as Excellent in the last evaluation.
