We are thrilled to announce that Associate Professor Mandy Downing has been honoured with the prestigious CAS Ally Award for 2024. This annual award, presented by the Centre for Aboriginal Studies (CAS), recognises one Curtin staff member (external to CAS) who has demonstrated a commitment to contributing to positive social change for Indigenous Australians through higher education and research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mandy\u2019s nomination came from CAS staff members, who highlighted the significant impact of her work and her dedication to fostering change at Curtin University. The reflections shared by her nominators truly capture the essence of her advocacy and leadership:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
