Sustainability across our study areas
Our research institutes and centres bring together some of Australia's - and the world's - leading thinkers in the field. This concentration of expertise not only places Curtin at the forefront of new developments in sustainability, but provides great opportunities for students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Students can choose courses run through key research centres and gain knowledge and skills from the forefront of change.
Our innovative approach to the study of sustainability, which recognises the subject's importance in all areas of life, extends across all Curtin's faculties.
For example, in Humanities, there are postgraduate options in sustainability and climate policy, and a sustainability focus in urban and regional planning courses.
In Science and Engineering, it forms part of courses including viticulture and oenology, mining and metallurgy.
Within Health Sciences, it's covered by environmental health courses and it's an integral part of tourism and event management teaching in Curtin Business School.
