Study alongside industry

Student

If we are to ensure continued growth of Australia's resources and energy industry, we must provide the highest-quality training to the scientists and engineers of the future.

Our reputation as a leader in this field attracts the best students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and provides them with a world-class educational experience in first-rate facilities.

Co-location with research staff and industry representatives at the Resources and Chemistry Precinct provides students with a stimulating workplace in a culture that encourages innovation. It also gives them the opportunity to network with a huge number of potential employers across a range of disciplines, providing ideas and opportunities for their future careers.

The Curtin Engineering Pavilion Complex, the first stage of which is due for completion in 2011, is our newest development and will further increase the interaction that students studying in this area have with researchers and industry. The pavilion will be a creative learning environment that will promote the cross-pollination of ideas so critical in engineering today.
