Global Learning Environments

Curtin has redeveloped a number of its existing learning and teaching spaces with the goal to transform learning at the University. These vibrant new spaces have been designed to increase student engagement, foster collaboration between staff and students and provide flexible, technology-rich environments which support active student learning.

Distributed learning eliminates the isolation of distance and supports student engagement in collaborative learning in a face to face environment, creating a truly global experience. The learning spaces are equipped to foster active learning and collaboration between groups of students and offer lecturers the opportunity to engage all cohorts equally in engaging real-time learning activities and include live presentations by industry and other content experts.
